Systemic organisational support

Systemic organisational support

My approach to providing systemic organisational support brings together the best of three specialist areas of expertise: coaching, facilitation and consulting. I have designed a flexible arrangement that enables senior leaders to co-design and iteratively manage support for the simultaneous development of self, others and the business unit (system).

My experience suggests that the greatest leverage is achieved when an executive leadership team has simultaneous access to: individual support; facilitation of important meetings and groups processes and assistance to conduct its own inquiry into the ongoing effectiveness of the systems of activity that together make up its work and generate results.

In simple terms, I offer the opportunity for you to engage me for an agreed number of hours per month over a period of time (generally three or six months) to support the design and conduct of a participative inquiry into the effectiveness of your system(s) and provide as needed support to individuals and groups to act on what is discovered.

I can take on a wide range of roles and tasks according to your needs. Ironically, I often feel I have done my best work when remaining very much in the background or when I have taken on a short-term role and simply become part of the team. Working in this way often seems to have a developmental impact that goes beyond simple notions of effectiveness. My experience has taught me that working closely with clients and becoming part of the team, at least temporarily, provides powerful benefits that far outweigh any possible loss of objectivity.
